TML has invested, and continues to invest, in CNC machining equipment to provide our customers with quality and competitive prices.

Our CNC machines are operated by a dedicated team of precision engineers to ensure accuracy and quality.  The latest 2D/3D CAD/CAM computer software is used to manufacture very complex components ... prototype or batch ... with relative ease.

We often interpret drawings from the customary “back of a fag packet,” and the end result is as precise as working from a CAD drawing.

We pro-actively input into the design to continually modify components in order to manufacture lighter and enhanced products for the end-user.

The turbo wastegate system shown above was one example of such a product. This product was manufactured from aluminium and titanium using our CNC machining facilities.

We were involved in the evolution of this part, and helped the customer to lighten it and improve its performance.
 

CNC Machining ... Wishbone Component

For more detailed projects, we use the latest technology to assist us. 3D CAD/CAM lets us visually “mock up” the finished item electronically. We can then incorporate any modifications prior to going to full manufacture.

The computer is linked directly through to our machines to ensure continuity of quality and compliance to tolerances.

Some parts require extremely complex machining, and the files produced by our CAD/CAM systems are too large to be downloaded to our CNC machines.

Our technicians can configure the CAD/CAM system to control our CNC machines directly to get around this problem.
